Jodie Hannis is a Leicester-based writer and performance poet very happy to find herself being immersed in the city’s gargantuan arts and cultural happenings. She chases after words at every opportunity and also occasionally runs away from ones she puts out into the world herself.
You’ll find Jodie lurking with intent to recite at any of the city’s many poetry and spoken word nights or half-heartedly performing into the digital abyss of Tumblr. She also really, really likes writing about being inspired by other performers on the “Everybody’s Reviewing” blog.
Obviously, there’s a semi-autobiographical, critically acclaimed yet commercially unviable debut novel on the way that you can anxiously start to anticipate. Jodie is best appreciated in person though so say hi and she’ll probably buy you a drink.
